Grand Teton in northwestern Wyoming is one of the steepest, youngest ranges in the Rockies with no foothills at its base. Home to grizzly bears, moose and elk, Grand Teton National Park was established by Congress in 1929 to protect the high peaks and valley lakes, then expanded in 1950 to include the surrounding valley. The park protects peaks that rise more than 6,900 feet above Jackson Hole, including 12 summits over 12,000 feet. The range formed as the active Teton fault pushed the mountains skyward while the valley floor dropped, rather than rising through gradual folding like most ranges — which is why it has no foothills. Its cultural history stretches back more than 10,000 years to the first paleo-Indian visitors to the valley.

The Grand Teton National Park that has it all. Jagged peaks, diverse wildlife, glacial lakes and incredibly beautiful wildflowers. It has everything, but an easy hike.

I was challenged to make this granola flavor by Tyler several years ago. He wanted something to fuel his training. High caloric density, low sugar, and everything clean - nuts and seeds. This one fuels you through the toughest climbs.
